Bergregenwald im Botanischen Garten der Universität Zürich
Bergregenwald Vegetation Botanischer Garten Universität Zürich

A visit to our garden is worthwhile in every season, be it for the joy of flowers, for botanical interest or for relaxation. The ecological journey took place through almost all climate zones with their corresponding vegetation (from the Alps to the tropics). A wide variety of senses are stimulated here, through the beauty of the shapes and colors for the eyes, the wide range of scents for the nose and for the sense of touch, the surface of the most diverse leaves and bark. On an area of around 53,000 m2, we cultivate around 7,000 different plant species, many of which are in bloom at any time or know how to please due to the variety of shapes of their leaves and fruits. A large meadow and a pond invite you to linger.
